Hello just a quick post to introduce myself, my name is andy and im new to the world of marinas i recently bought a 1.3 vermillion mk3 which im hoping to do a bit of a restoration work to over the next few months ready for some shows next year (so ill probably be hassling you all for some advice over the next few months :) ).
I hear a few people on here know the car which is good its always nice to know a bit of history about the car you own.
Ive been after an old car for a while now for myself and my car mad 5 year old son to take to a few shows and this one caught my eye as my grandad used to have one the same colour when i was a nipper so it was ideal, it mainly just needs the bodywork attending to but im in the motorbody game so it will keep me out of trouble for a while.

Im looking for a set of minilite or weller wheels or similar to go on it if anybody has any or knows of any for sale.

I think its safe to say ive caught the marina bug  .

Andy.

youv'e gone for in my opion the best Marina/Ital in the best colour (especialiy if it's got the vinyl roof),the mk 3 had the lot, looks and comfort over the others and a great dash set up i'm in the middle of talks with Brian about a mk3 1700 Hl he has in his fleet (including the 3 Marinas i have of his i think he's up to the 14 mark in total at least 1 of every model),at the moment, but if you need to know anything about the mk3 he's your man,go for a pick-up when you get the chance, and your'e sorted my son......
