as per my previous topic:

My Suntor needs some (possibly quite substantial) welding to the sills.. would be great to have someone into Marina/Morris that knows what they're doing and won't rip me off completely! :rolls:

can anyone recommend someone for this? Preferably mobile that could come to Surrey. although i would be willing to have it transported to a garage if necessary!

So if anyone out there knows someone or is someone that is good at welding please PM me, can send more pics if needed!

Many Thanks,

Tom

"Uncle" Frank is the club President and the resident Marina bodywork expert. See the Uncle Frank's Workshop section of the forum for examples of his work, and various bits of bodywork related advice.

My estate is hopefully the next Marina to have a long term holiday in his workshop once Phil's GT is finished, hence my slightly tongue in cheek comment ;)

Oh, and IoW is the Isle of Wight :mr green:

Ahh, yeah had a look at some of it, very impressive! Don't worry I'm not trying to nick your place! lol.. I don't want (nor can I afford!) a full restoration like some of his work as brilliant as it does look! I am trying to do most of it myself and keep spending to a minimum, I just want a fun classic that's a bit different.. Not fussed if it's not a show winner lol as long as it passes an MOT I'm happy! And with the sill like that I don't see that happening, but I don't know the first thing about welding! :-? :rolls:
