Hello gentlemen,
I really need your help! I am new here, and I dont have to much information about different things. I have tried lots of things to get information, but I wasnt lucky.
I am a 22 year old guy from Hungary, and I have got a 1973 Morris Marina 1.8 two door COUPE. If I am right this is the only one in my country, so really rare, what makes me proud, but gives me lots of problem too. My fathers uncle bought it back in 1973 so I am the secont owner! :D
The difficulty level of my situation is very high. The work shops cant help me they never saw and never heard about it, they cant understand its not a mini morris!
So this is my main situation. Anyway, now I REALLY NEED A REAR WINDSCREEN/WINDOW RUBBER SEAL FOR MY 1973 MORRIS MARINA 2 DOOR COUPE!!!! I cant find it anywhere, and have no ide where can I get! Please gentlemen help me!
Thank you so much!
(sorry because of my english)

Your English is an awful lot better than my Hungarian.

Unfortunately they are no longer available. Several people on the forum have used a Ford Escort Mk3 FRONT Windscreen rubber instead. This is the right height and shape in the corners (or close to) but is too wide, so it will need to be cut along the top and the bottom and be shortened to match the width of your screen. Not ideal but it's the best solution we've found so far. You may be able to find a local source, but if not East Kent Trim in the UK sell the Escort screen rubber you need.

By all means keep looking, if you do find a source of a proper Marina one let us know. Unfortunately they seem very difficult to find- you might be lucky though 8-)

Is there any chance to choose or use the mk3 escort front Window rubber to the rear with the chrome side? What is the way of it? I don't want only a single black rubber, because I have chrome in all of my windows.

i have second hand coupe rubber & window here in norway
There is some guy i know who drives regulary to poland each other week or so
or even better in the summer months i employee two bulgarians to work oon my cars , they could bring the windscreen over

would really like to have the coupe rear window rubber reproduced but the TOTAL market worldwide is maybe 500+ if EVERY coupes on the road were to change their rear window rubber . so the cost for a reasonable batc of say 50+ would make it more expensive than the market are willing to pay . but as marina prices is slowly rising - who knows in 10-15 yers... :)
