Ok guys I thought I would treat the coupe petrol tank to a fresh coat of paint as ifs quite heavily rusted but solid so preserve what you have
Tank came out no problem but when I drained the gallon or so of fuel so much crud came out as I want reliability I need to clean the inside of the tank the best I can
Suggestions please

I have used Frost's ' Metal Ready' in the past with excellent results. You use it with hot water then rinse out and wait till the tank dries out. If the tank has any weak spots though this stuff will find them.
