Recent or old, photos of Marina and Ital estates.
Writing an article for Understeer so any little stories of ownership or driving estates welcome.

I'm picking my mk2 up sometime in my easter holidays from its winter storage loction so I can send you some photos of that if you want when I bring it home, I might even have some old ones from when I first owned it about 14 years ago.

Thanks Chris. If you could write a few short words about driving/ owning it that would be great too. Send it through on an email.

I had an estate about ten years back. It was a 1977 1.8 mk2 automatic. Wish I kept it, it was a lovely car but I had no job back then and couldn't afford to restore it. Unfortunately I never took any pics of it except when I sold it. Unless someone saved the pics from eBay?

Sorry Ben, I do have a very busy life outside of Marinas, I know it's hard to believe

Might get a chance to put some photos together for you tomorrow evening...

I have some photos of Mk1 and Mk3 estates on my PhotoBucket account, saved from TradeMe listings, you're welcome to use any of them. Clicking on this thumbnail should take you to them (you might have to wade through some non-Marina stuff

to find them all).

Looks like that picture could have been taken just down the road from me. Is a good colour too, I fancy a coupe in that, what's it called?

Thank you all.
Some excellent shots here, and our Archivist Josh has sent me some brilliant ones too.
If anyone else has photos or stories about estates please let me know. I will be writing something for the next magazine due out early May.

Kilroy must have enough stories to write a book I'd have thought.
You've had enough drivel on my car in there of late, you don't need any more. I'll try and dig out the photo I took of multiple estate (Mud, Sarah's Ital, and the Thornber duo if I remember rightly) line up at the Devon Nats.
