Hi folks , I'm new to this forum and have renewed my interest in marinas after reading a feature in this months Practical Classics Magazine. In about 1983 i had a Reynard Metallic Marina HL reg number UDP 620S . Just like the one featured in the magazine!. I have a long association with Marinas and Itals as my dad was a salesman at Henleys of Maidenhead which was an British Leyland Dealer in the 1970s. I can remember dad having a Blaze Morris Ital reg number GAN 22V if its still about? I would love to know if these two cars still survive ! . Hope you can help!

GAN 22V was last taxed in 1989 and the DVLA has no other records of it which means that it's not on SORN.

After 26 years untaxed it's very unlikely to have survived I'm afraid.

I think there's more marina's not sorn that we don't know about take mine for example not on the road since 2004 and no sorn registered and they seem to be popping up out of the woodwork at the minute good for us though

I had some info from DVLA that suggested about 900 on top of the number taxed or sorned.
