I'm ready to order some new carpet for Cora from the advert in the magazine, it's a mk1 1.8SDL in harvest gold with brown vinyl seats and dash, the original carpet has been replaced by that from a ital in a dark brown, there is some of the original under the seat runners which is a darkish beige and i would like to have that again.

Anyone know the correct name for it please?

I bought carpet from this eBayer a while back, really good. Need to buy a front half for TDT soon in navy blue, or midnight blue as it's called here. Are those the original names of the colours?

I want to put it as back to original as I can, so will want a beige to match

My car would of had olive or sorrel coloured carpet originally according to the trim guide,

The carpets are a dark beige/khaki colour and the seats are a dark browny/green with a brown dash.

I've not seen that colour advertised anywhere....

Your seats and carpet are both Olive then Originally starts out as a sort of khaki but the vinyl over the years goes brown then eventually grey.
