According to DVLA GWN788L doesn't exist!

I've run a experian check too and it's the same story.

Maybe it was scrapped years ago or the plates don't match.

Obviously never got on the new V5 system would be extra work to get number back and re register so best treated as a Spares Only Car

If has been off the road for a long time, then it will never have got onto the DVLA database. It is possible to reclaim its original Reg if you can prove it say with old tax disks and other documentation, together with a club inspection and our validation of the year of manufacture on the DVLA form V765.

I have done a couple previously and have one to do this week.

Provided you have some documentation then it's not particularly onerous or expensive to reclaim the original number. If you don't then providing the serial number is present and correct it's not difficult to get a new age related number instead. Keeps Chris busy too...

Currently going through the process with a vintage tractor but that's being more difficult as the serial number is stamped into the engine block (since there's no chassis to speak of) and it's had a replacement engine!

I thought this sold? :eh: had a few bids too if I remember. Why do people have to pi*s around? You bid, you buy..simple.
This car is only up the road from me. I'd give it a good home :-D
