No longer listed on DVLA and doesn't even show on Experian, either had a plate change or long since scrapped.

It would be interesting to know, but probably scrapped, like most of the show cars and cover cars from that era. They succumbed just like everything else.

While furtling around with my collection of magazines, I came across this from my copy of What Car? April 1976 Special Spring Issue (same month and year as the registration of my Marina), when they did an A-Z of all cars then currently for sale on the UK market.
Alphabetically, the next car along from the Morris Marina was a Moskvich 412....

Also the Marina featured fairly prominently, in graphic art form at least, on the front cover...
