Marina and Ital 1.3 clutch plate sizes

I was wondering if the clutch plate size for an 1.3 Ital 80-84 is the same as the Marina 1.3 72-80 cos my Haynes books differ, 6.5" for the Marina and 8" for the Ital , I thought that when the 8" plate replaced the early 6".5 plate that the larger 8" plate would fit both the A and A+ series engines :?

Long story short I need a Tally spinning plate cos mine is contaminated with oil from the crankshaft rear oil seal

Hi Martin,

71/72 1.3 Marina clutches were only 6" diameter and were bl***y awful. All the later 1.3 clutches are 8" or 208mm.

There are a bunch of both them on Ebay at the moment.
