Marina Van 1098cc Engine

Hi all
Could anyone tell me how to identify the early Marina van 1098 engine as distinct from the late Morris Minor Traveller and LCV engine.
I have a 1098 engine which is painted black, has a manual fuel pump, whereas Moggies were electric, but also has the old type oil filter bowl and paper filter. No alternator is fitted.
Someone suggested that late travellers/ vans had black engines though I thought they were green to end of production?
My engine number is 10V 189e/H 76067 and I am wondering whether this is a very early Marina van or late moggy engine.
Help with identity would be appreciated!
Kevin
