Hi,
I understand that Metro/ 114 rear belts go straight in on a Marina. Has anyone actually done this?
I recently purchased a complete set. So looking for pointers or pitfalls before I start the job.
Thanks in advance.

I fitted Austin Metro inertia belts to my red saloon years ago but couldn't see any anchor points on the rear shelf so had to place two great big steel plates underneath accessed through the boot. I found later that the anchor points are behind the C pillars but no room for inertia reel only static belts.

The only set that I recall seeing in the flesh were in Phil Dunsters

Halfords had Securon 3 point rear static belts on clearance here £4.99! I know that because I bought the same ones for £30 on the Bay a few days before I seen Halfords had them! Not sure if the store up by you may have them but worth checking.

Hi Tony,
Mine has rear belts fitted. Parcel Shelf fitted inertia type.
I got mine out of an Allegro in the breakers yard. The car was in good nick and should not have been in there but it did provide me with nice almost new belts
