Correct battery?

I've finally started work on my 1980 2.0 Ital Estate Auto. I think I've sorted the water pump and theromostat and now need a new battery. But what is the correct battery?
I know a 038 and the slightly higher capacity 015 are the right footprint and height and will fit, but what was the original spec for the car? Early 1.8 Estates had a 55A/hr battery but the Ital brochure does not give any info. The Ital parts slide does not show the battery at all, but has different battery retaining parts for a A9, A11 and A13 battery type. Anyone know what these A numbers mean? Looking at the press photos for the car, the battery looks a lot wider than an 015. Would appreciate any leads to the original battery type.

I checked my Lucas Parts Finder catalogue and wouldn't you know it the Ital 2.0 is not listed. The 1.7 Ital is listed and it shows the 038 or 015, the same as all other Marina and Itals.

However, the 1982-84 2.0 Ambassador is listed with a Lucas 071 52amp battery - suspect that this is the missing link, as the battery terminals are in the same position.

Dimensions 015
L = 245mm
W = 135mm
H = 200mm

Dimensions 071
L = 266mm
W = 175mm
H = 220mm

Try out your tape measure to check if it will fit.

UPDATE

A Google search for "Ital 2.0 battery", turned up the 049 battery, rated at 45amps

Dimensions
Length: 219mm
Width: 135mm
Height: 225mm

So slightly shorter but taller than standard 015.
