Oh yes, what does Clifford say at around 1 min & 5 seconds in ?,
"As a club we preach that (a) IT'S NOT A CLASSIC and (b)We........"
Case closed, the Morris Marina is NOT a classic car ! , A collectors car, but not a classic.
Don't know about you, but that's just the way I like it!

Good to see you got it online Brian. Your DVD never did arrive..
I see a few cars I recognise there! Lovin the 90's attire of some members!
As for the Classic reference I think most of us would argue and say that in this new era of owners the Marina has earned classic status easily. The car is no longer just a cheap banger that gets wrecked. They are being saved and used as some good old 70's fun!
70's Nostalgia IS the Morris Marina!
Bring on long evenings and an ipod full of classic drivin tunes!

Great video, good to see so many Marinas, although Top Gear reports still make my skin crawl with that stupid Upper Class Twit schoolboy attitude whether it is Clarkson or any of the other toffs doing it...
"fnarr, fnarr...... look at the silly Marina owner who has painted his car with a brush...fnarr, fnarr"
"fnarr, fnarr.... lets buy a Rover SD1 and make it look like the doors fall off....fnarr, fnarr"
Just my little rant - thanks for posting the vid, like I said good to see the Marinas in action.
later,
Chris

Just realised how thin I was then...... nice to see my late father getting in on the act! I like Mason's comments about owners clubs for Sierras, Maestros and Montegos.... who had the last laugh about that then? I think I would be quite difficult to get that many Marinas and Itals together nowadays....
The classic car movement needs Jeremy Clarkson like Jenson Button needs a towhitch and a Sprite Musketeer....
