Hi Jim,
I was thinking more along the lines of 150 B.H.P. worth of Rover B.R.M. 1800 v.v.t. motor which I have stripped on my workshop bench at the mo!
 But That may find it's way into my mumford yet
Brian.

as long as its not one of those FORD jobbies, you should be ok
P.S. if you're still on 10 cwt running gear, the 3.9 to 1 diff from the M.G.B. makes for a much more relaxing cruise than the 4.5 to 1 as standard!
Fits straight into your 10cwt axle casing too!
It's cheap quick & you keep your original wheel P.C.D.
