I think I will move the bracket in the bellhousing to the left side, and make a bracket to hold the linkage on that side.
If the heat would let up I could put some more greasy fingerprints on the Moggie.

There is no slave cylinder or cable- strictly a manual, Morris Minor type clutch. I will have to do something to attach the clutch linkage on the left side. It appears a bracket was fashioned to hold the linkage on the right side.

Thanks, Chris. Turns out what I have is a Ford Sierra 5 speed gearbox attached to the Marina engine. Maybe I should I post on the Ford Sierra Club Forum?
