Was hoping to dig Ducky out this weekend and see about freeing the clutch off (I assume it's stuck, haven't actually checked yet but it usually is  ) but sadly there's an unmovable VYL in the way so instead I put a few more patches into REW the Blaze coupe as well as finding a few more holes, turning out to be a bit of a heap underneath!

Needs a starter motor or possibly just a solenoid (absolutely nothing when key turned), Gary wants it 'as is' though and I'm not particularly looking for jobs to do on cars at the moment

I picked up a starter recently and advertised it here, proceeds to club funds, no good to you?

PM me.

I did mention you had one to Gary a couple of times, I wont be spending any money on the car unless Gary decides he isn't going to have it.

Not sure to be honest  It was certainly a very good car and looked lovely as it pulled away :( On the other hand it has free'd up some cash to either buy another early one or maybe be sensible and use the money for something else (guess which is Helen's preferred option). It's gone to a called Joe down in Hemel Hempstead who is on this forum and a little bit younger than me, he's also got a Ford Anglia, the Marina is going to be his new daily 8-)

I think the sensible bloke option is to spend the money doing up another one of the fleet. You can tell Helen that you've not using the money to buy another one.

That's certainly the other option, I have fallen in love with a couple of cars that are for sale though

The main problem is not money but time for doing the other ones up, so yeah perhaps not a wise idea to get yet another one....

Always hard to let them go Josh, but probably for the best mate, use some of it on the others and keep the fleet a bit smaller, it is hard to keep so many up together, and a lot less hassle ;)

Yes although it does seem a tad weird having only seven cars on the driveway

Time is the main problem for me, it's taking me months to get anywhere at the moment so I'm definitely not going to be buying any more big projects, at least not until I have finished a couple of the others. I've got most of the bits to do Ducky, the Racing Green coupe and get the Blaze coupe MOT'd but having the time to weld etc is a different matter, fingers crossed now the better weather is here I can make a bit more progress

I am half tempted to sell the Wild Moss saloon as well but the problem is it's a project and nobody wants those, and I would never forgive myself if I sold it and it ended up on the banger track!
