Muskydo,
My 72 Van is insured with (FJ) and they never batted an eyelid at that. Even although the vans/ pick ups are commercial they are no longer being used as commercial vehicles any more. I also own a double deck bus and that is/was not insured as a commercial vehicle. I changed its class to PLG and only pay car road tax on it when its time to put it back on the road and even the insurance on that was only £78, not bad considering I can take 75 people on board with 9 standing!

That's amazing, prices like those make a mockery of what I paid last year,I'll ring tomorrow and let you all know the results.
Thanks

Just had my quote from Footman james very helpfull people but unfortunatly because neither of my pickups are over 25 years old (next year they will be) they come into a different pricing bracket and the best they can do is £248:00 for both fully comp.

I'll wait for my renewal and work from there. :

Thanks for the tip Frank,I'm beginning to give up hope of a really good deal,Footman James will do the one Pickup for less money than my present insurers but more money than them for both trucks !as I probably won't use my newer truck over the winter whilst I apply some TLC.I will probably go the single car route with FJ. and then next year at least I will have some history with them when my trucks come of age.

But I will try Sureterm Direct on Monday to check.
Thanks
Steve
