Sprowston north east of Norwich.. I'll pm you my number if you're ever passing drop in I'll make you a cuppa fella.
and I work at Broadland Business Park just off the A47 Southern bypass. are you a member of the lowestoft classic club? Andy the key man in Lowestoft is a mate, I sold him a Range Rover a few years back.. and he still talks to me ;) lol
No, not a member of LCVC; had a 'discussion' a couple of years back and was told in no uncertain terms that Marinas "aren't classic cars" to b*ll*cks to 'em. Was in the EAPC until last year, much more friendly bunch.....
I work at NXEA Crown Point Depot, so I'm in Norwich most days.

Convoy sound a good plan; just got to get the Ital MOT'd first!
The classic car movement needs Jeremy Clarkson like Jenson Button needs a towhitch and a Sprite Musketeer....

Yea some clubs do tend to be a bit snobby, I only know one guy in the lcv club.. Andy he's ok just a total petrol head, and he's on a couple of other forums/ Clubs i frequent, I've not joined the Bentley/Rolls Royce club yet for the same reasons as I want to see what their like first, I fitted in here OK even before i got my marina, and got a lot of help and friendly advice, what clubs shoould be about, we all have the same Hobby, pity there are some who dont play nice eh? lol.. I go thru life with the attitude if people like me great if they dont, i'm not gonna loose any sleep lol...
you wanna come over for the Norwich Classic Vehicle Club, no snobs there and if it runs on petrol its welcome.. even let them trabant thingys in lol, make our Marinas seem positivlely luxurious lol..

No get that motor MOT'd... Morris Convoy sound like fun ...

I will be at the show but whether I have a car there or not is a different matter. I am hoping that the new addition will be there but who knows

Up to you mate, we really all need to have a chat and find out who is coming up from this part of the country and find somewhere central to meet. Haven't had a chance to send off my form yet, will do it tomorrow hopefully. I will be having my MOT a few days before so if it fails catastrophically I might need to be your passenger

BMC/BL Rally & Spares Day - Sunday 7th August

Post by MarinaCoupe » Tue Jul 05, 2011 8:52 am

I thought that I should start a separate topic for Peterborough to save hi-jacking the National topic.

Full location address - Ferry Meadows, Nene Park (Nottcutts entrance), Oundle Road, Peterborough , PE2 5UU.

The club has booked a stand as per usual. We don't handle the individual bookings, you need to book direct with the organisers at BMC / BL Rally.

There is a downloadable booking form which you complete and send to the organsiers together with your cheque, you can also drive in on the day, but its is a little more expensive.

The show & autojumble is on the Sunday only, but there is camping overnight the night before with a Hog Roast and Band to keep you entertained, all the prices are on the organisers website.

So who's coming?

Dammit you're on to me! Will certainly try my very best and get the car up to scratch for the MOT so long as there are no hidden nasties underneath....

Well barring any last minute hiccups I'll be there with the new addition. Put it on the brake rollers today and it past the brake test with flying colours so it will be tested tomorrow and should pass. Happy days the first show of the year for me. Happy as a dog with 2 tails.
