Ben

I want to edit a wanted advert that I put in the new Classifieds section, to fix some typos. I can't see an edit button anywhere, what am I missing?

I posted a reply to one of the wanted adds but going back in all I can find is the original ad. I can't read any of the replies. Is it my lack of pc skills or something else?

I've moved the classifieds back to the top of the page and reduced the number of items you can see.

The reply button sends an email to the vendor. I will be coding it to show replies under the ad this week.

Click on the "Classifieds" menu at the top of the site. You will need to be logged into do this. On the left hand side click on "My Ads". You can edit from that menu.

It's also partly solved my pictures issue, so from that I guess the only way to completely solve it would be to remove the side bar on the left? :-?

Can you send me a screen shot Josh of what you mean? Also what resolution are you running?

It's all just teething problems, but with everyone's input we can get it looking and performing right.

Screen shot:

As can be seen, I loose half of the image (when opened in a new tab Frank's shot shows the whole car)
Image
It appears to be due to the side bars, before the classifieds bar even less of the image was showing.

Resolution is 1440 x 900.

Thanks for putting so much effort into getting everything how people want it 8-)

It is nearly six years old now! I couldn't afford a brand new one, I refuse to pay Apple's overinflated prices! (From memory this was about £300)

Truth be told I am considering a switch back to Windows, with more tuneability, cheaper prices etc and OSX is getting a bit long in the tooth now and has numerous security vulnerabilities which the virus writers are now beginning to pick up on. Windows 8 is fantastic as well!

Hi Ben

I followed your instructions and have found out how to edit my advert. I then saved and now the item is no longer shown.

I can see it in the 'my ads' section. But is it tagged with a message "this item is not displayed", how do I fix it?
