Chaps, is there any possibility that one of you could salvage that drivers side interior door pull for me? I appreciate that you've got a lot to do so don't worry if its too much trouble, but mine looks rather a mess and I've been looking for a good replacement for mine for over a year now:

If by any chance you can I should be at Peterborough and I'll settle up with you there, cheers. :)

Cheers Paul, as you say anything's better than that - all the others are perfect and it really spoils the interior and gets on my wick as I see it and use it every time I get in/out of the car  .

a Big Thanks to Paul.. he'd removed the seats for me when i arrived this afternoon, got stuck in traffic on the m25 so it was a real help by just having to load em into the car, got the hubcaps and 3 trims for you Josh, and the door pull for your Lordship ;) i'll bring em to Peterborough, where I must buy Paul a cuppa tea or two for firstly finding this gem and secondly the hard work of taking the bits off for me cheers fella

Not a problem Eamonn,
Glad you got there OK and found the place.
My thumbs are a little tender after pressing the rear and front screens out.
Rear rubber was not good.

See you at Peterborough
You won't miss me, just look for the day glow Marina :D

lol i'll be in the "getting shinier" Black Violet coupe with Wolfrace slots ;)
and no tears in my seats soon lol, plus i'm gonna take the vinyl off the two torn seats and save it for any repairs in the future, couldn't manage the rear seat too big and to be honest my back seat looks great untouched almost...
cheers again

Well done chaps :D many thanks for getting the door pull Eamonn. A good result for the Forum - just shows how useful it can be in this kind of situation. Shame the rear screen rubber wasn't any good for Fruity. Hope the tea van is well stocked at Peterborough! (they'd run out by early afternoon a couple of years ago ).

I am going to see this car tomorrow and recover some more parts!!
The guy Tom who banger raced it contacted me today!! After months of nothing.
I thought it was long gone but it is still about.
At least he kept my details and before he crushes it had the thought to contact me again

Strange it should end up back where it was originally spotted (Jim W. found it originally) in a tarmac yard in Littlehampton. If you Google map this post code - BN17 5SF, go to street view the Citron Coupe got caught on the Google camera before I pulled the screens out and the dash and trim :shifty:
It is pictured on Quayside road off the B2187 outside Forsters Yard!! Lots of broken up cars including a few oldies.

Going to recover the new front calipers it had on it and may get the prop and rear axle. Prop has been modified but depends on the which end has been messed with
I will get some pictures, I am sure it is not pretty now as it has been raced. Although Tom said he had a bad night so not a lot of damage

I have now seen this car again after its Banner race.
The Guy gave up racing it after blowing the ford lump twice!
I recon if he had used the B series engine it would have gone better

The car has now gone for scrap but I managed to rescue the back axle and rear prop and new front calipers last night

The calipers had new pads in them and with a clean up will be perfect.
Could not get the new front shocks off which still had BL Labels on as I ran out of time.
Ended up leaving the rear springs but got all the sprig mounts and shocker mounts.

So there lies the end of this story
