A big thanks to the 2 Mrs Cairns for spoiling me at lunch time this afternoon with the Strawberries and fresh cream. A good all round day out at Moffat, well it was good in between the torrential showers. It was also good to see big Stu’s new coupe, the guys even left a space for me to park up beside my big mate so we could have our own wee Reynard section, aww!

 Shame about the weather guys..that looks similar to our early outing in April, it hammered down most of the day, certainly makes you appreciate the good days when the sun is shining 8) , looks like another fine turn out though, despite the weather

The funny thing was, Ray, Larry and myself still managed to get hit by the Sun. Larry coped it more than us and his face was well tanned by the end of the day! The turnout was ok but also disappointing at the same time. We had 26 cars booked into this event and only about 9 turned up.

Dont know what happened to the passes but only half the folk got them. Missing passes wernt an issue as Ray, Larry and myself all know the organisers of the event and we were booked in anyway so any member would still gain entry.

I was turned away at the gate because I was an hour and 10 minutes late. One of the stewards told me I couldn't get in but little did he know that his partner at the gate was a mate of mine from the previous car club I was a member of so I got waved through and let in. Ray told the grumpy steward that if I didnt get in then the entire club was leaving lol. Fortunatly our stand was right next to the back gate anyway so there wasn't really an issue but just some twit that felt special for a few hours because he had a yellow vest on. You always get at least one power ranger at these shows.

I think I came across this supersillious -insert rude word here- as well, good on ya ray for threatening him like that! Seans one the core members, wouldn't be quite the same if he wasn't at a show

I had a good day there and I made it up the road, just, looks like I've got fried points, so as soon as I can afford it theres a full Lumenition system going in there, new points and condenser for now though, get my beast rollin' again!
