That car is looking better and better. Well done for tidying it up.The more complete it is it will be easier to sell on if you don't want it.

Plan now is to try and get it back on the road with my TC engine in & take it from there. I'll probably end up selling it in exchange for a saloon at some point, but I'll hopefully get to enjoy it for a bit first.

Today I painted my headlamp bowls after grinding the mainly surface rust off them.
One was a bit too far gone so I 'm using a 'new' spare I had.

Well Balmy needed some pics so I went down to the garage and she fired up third turn of the key after 8 weeks locked away. I drove her down to the local park for the pics and then went out for a half an hour drive just to get a Pickup fix.

I broke the knob end off my window winder. :cry:

Are all winders the same for MArinas or is there a different one for utes/early Marinas etc?

Checkout the MGB window winders, they are the same in the UK. You may be able to buy new locally.

i drove 130 miles in my 1.3 mk 3 today( just got it) pulls like a train. but the last 40 miles the temp guege went up to near red and heater went cold i did pull over twice to cool down then when i got my marina home and looked under the bonnet the belt had staped oh dear engine seem ok i will get the belt done then see if its ok think its a close one hopefully ok
