Does anyone know of a manufacture of Stainless steel Braided brake hose set for the Later Morris Ital with telescopic front dampers the type that screw directly into the caliper rather than the ones with the little metal pipe to caliper
Thanks in advance
Dave

David,

These people made my set for me. They have a big book, with all the hose descriptions, dimensions, threads etc.

When I Googled the GBH219 that Baz suggested it came back as a rear hose on a TR7. A local Brake supplier to me has come up with a new TRW hose not sure of number at present but is listed as fitting a Bedford CF250 it does however look right I will have a play at the weekend. If its ok I have something to work with.

Hi David

I have a lovely paper Moprod hydraulics catalogue, that gives details by model, part number, all vehicles using the same part so here we go.

Ital options

It’s the late Ital pipes we are interested in so the front hoses are BH119 & the rear BH201

The tables give you some cross-references into cars where stainless braided hoses are readily available.

Thank you both. With the pictures Chis put up and some online catalogues and my original marina BL catalogue I have discovered that the front hose is a
GBH 211 same as front on Stag and 2000/2500 range I have compared the new TRW hose I have with my pick up and my Stag it is the same the MGB listing is 22 mm shorter. The rear is GBH138 the same as Dolomite and Spitfire/GT6 range rear hose. Tomorrow I am going to the Triumph / MG spares day at Stoneleigh so will see what I can find
