Do they just bolt straight on or need spacers? Cant decide if these would look ok or not, has anyone got any pics of them on a saloon or coupe, see how much they fill the arches if at all and how they look... just wondering as there are plenty on Ebay...

Mick they do bolt straight on,but you will have to space them,i think by at least 1/4 inch here is a shot of some fitted to Marina Brian's camper,and a members Ital

Thanks for the quick replies, they look good She doesnt seem too impressed by them as she like spokey wheels so thinking these but 3 3/4 PCD is right but unsure about the offset. Says 3/4 inch so about 19mm.

They say to fit GT6 etc

I find the whole "offset" thing rather complex.
The original steel rims on my Marinas have 100mm distance between the back edge of the rim and the inner mounting surface.
I call this the backspace.
I consider this to be the critical measurement - because much deeper and the tyres rub on the top swivel joint.
My Superlite rims have 100mm backspace, and that works well with 7" width.
When I have steel rims banded, I get them extended outwards only, so that has to work too.
Most modern wheels seem to be designed for FWD vehicles, so they have much more backspace, as the hubs are closer to the outer edge of the body.
These require spacers when fitted to RWD cars, for the above reasons.
As a quick check - ask the seller what the backspace is.
My 6" hotwires (or equivalent..) were supplied on a Marina - but they seem to have about 110mm backspace - consequently they look rather 'skinny' on the car...

I found this online calculator to give basic size difference, tried a few all say the same... 19mm less clearance inside, 7mm wider outside.

Sorted she is getting the ones above, Ebay seller holding them for me until the end of this month

6x13 so should fit ok, might need a small spacer but PCD is right, saved drilling the hubs to fit other PCD wheels.

Full set of 5 with centre caps and just been sprayed and laquered so should look good on the Coupe. Planning on lowering it a bit so it looks a bit better and might go round a corner I have a set of 175/70's to go on but might be a bit narrow for a 6J rim..

I previously used 175/70s on some alloys looked ok.

I like the look of that a lot, The wheels look just right Was that lowered too, if so how much?

No not lowered at all, although I suspect that rear springs may have 'settled' over the years.

Toyo give permitted rim width for 175/70x13 as 4.5 - 6.0 inches. 205/60x13 will also fit, permitted 5.5 - 7.5 inches.

I had 205/60's on my 6" hotwires, and they were so restricted by the rim width that they looked no wider than the 175/70's.
I have now taken them off and fitted 175's, so I will have a set of 205's for the next set of steels currently being widened to 7".
