How do i go about checking to see if my campervan should be tax exempt ??? it is first registered in march 73.
but may be manufacured earlier ????

The Spring 2012 edition of Understeer has first chassis number for 1973 manufacture, so you can work it out.

The last built date was 31/12/1972 for tax exemption. So cars first registered in early 1973 may have been built in 1972.
A club member recently checked the chassis plate on his TC, although not registered until March 1973, the chassis plate showed that it had been manufactured in 1972, so you never know until you check.
