How much is a mk1 DL saloon worth?

hi everyone
As some of you may know i own a 1972 TC coupe, which is currently in storage whilst we work on my dad's rover p5b coupe. It may be another year or so before we get the TC into the workshop.
The other day i was at our local classic car wreckers and he'd just got a 1972 1.8 DL in, with full TC spec parts on. The car runs, breaks work and all electronics work. It has also had the sills, front and rear valence, wings and rear arches replaced. The floors, inner sills and spring hangers all look solid. the only thing is it hasn't been sprayed. i took my friend, who does bodywork for a living, to have a look and he said he would buy the paint and do the remaining work on it for £300 for me. So I was thinking of buying it to run at the moment. the man wants £650 for it and i was wondering if this is a reasonable price (considering that i will most likely sell it once the Coupe is on the road). I thought you guys would be the best people to ask, and any advice would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Torryn
