Re: 71 TC Coupe on Car and Classic
Yes it is Harry's, I have spoken to him, he's putting it to H&H auctions, so it will be a good test of the market from a TC Coupe. He's also selling his green van if anyone is interested.
Josh - Harry will be contacting you. He thinks that it's the oldest surviving TC, I said that you would be ...

Re: Maestro wheels
Sorry, don't understand. The Marina and Maestro both have a PCD of 95.25, I was just worried about the "ET". The Maestro 's ET is 28, but I don't know what the Marinas is.
You will need to measure from the inner face of the wheel to the hub mount. I think it is only a 10-12mm difference, but you ...

Re: Maestro wheels
Hello, does anyone know, will a MG Maestro Lattice wheel, 6j x 15" wheel, fit a Marina, without too much fuss?
Yes they do, I had them on my Ital Estate, but you need bespoke spacers and the 'correct' tyres to miss the front suspension uprights. They will also find any weaknesses in your front ...

Re: 1972 Van Gumtree £2000
Depends if they've swapped it over or just sent the details to DVLA. To be honest, if it was a proper job they'd have cut the inner wings and fitted old-style ones which if done properly would have made it impossible to tell the difference.

Re: 1972 Van Gumtree £2000
He's got grumpy with someone stating it has Ital inner wings and expansion bottle. It's a ringer as there are several details there that don't add up. It's a good one, but still isn't 'right' (which is a bloody shame as I'd have it if it was a proper Ital ex-BR van).
In fact I'd go as far to say it ...

Oh Well.......
Sad day today..... after 33 years I now no longer own any Marina or Itals. I bought the first in March 1983 (HVG 84N 1.3SDL in white) and today sold BGH 843X on to Sophie Bradfield after 13 years ownership. Bit of a hole on the drive, soon to be filled by either a Rover 100 or MGF and a pile of bits ...
