Hi, yeah definately coming. I would like to buy one ticket. Is it possible for us to meet somewhere firsthand as I have a habit of getting lost. I was thinking of the car wash on the left after the roundabout heading towards frome?

i will be happy to compliment your rapier.....ive owned 3 rapier coupes (2 metallic blue 72 cars & a rare 71 auto in bronze).....such a cool car

do you need any rapier spares btw?.....think ive still got a centre console & some trim ...

am deffo going Balmy....10.30 at the back gate (where you come off the road to access the visitors carpark) would be cool.........if Phil wants to meet there at similar time it would work well......then we just convoy in & overdose the masses on marina mk1's lol

just to add another wrinkle......wasnt the triple pod dash optional on all 1.8's apart from tc'S Where it was standard??

I only say this cos my 1st ever car was a 72 limeflower 1.8 SDL coupe.....chrome wheelarch trim but NO triple pod dash....all matchin numbers, no re-shells (ahem lol)

The car you mention appeared in the May 93 issue of Fast Car or the December 93 issue of Marina Matters (pre Understeer) under the heading " The Ancient Marina " the cars registration number was XHK 875L ,i only have the Marina matters copy so the quality isn't great and it's in black ...

cool pic.........does anybody else remember a metallic green marina saloon on revo rfx's & fitted with a turned round hybrid montego turbo engine?.....late 80's/early 90's in custom car or street machine i think?

only 200 miles on a rebuilt engine & an unknown drivers style??...........hmmm....would advise sitting this 1 out, putting more miles on the motor& getting together for some practice/assessment with the new guy

a roller with an ital lump...hmmm.....seems a bit weird to me....thought most grass squishers used small Lister engines or similar??

could be a reliant 750 robin engine??....they look superficially similar to an A-series but did get used in some non-car applications?

maybe Angus is jezza in ...
