That looks like it could be it! The VDP was on it's original paint and in need of some (but not that much!) TLC but I reckon that's about right... Tempting as it's good to see a VDP in anything other than white or brown - and 'right' would make an eyecatching and unusual motor

Slightly off-topic but I've potentially been offered a low mileage Allegro Vanden Plas from a guy I worked with 15 years ago. It's been laid up since then and he's lost interest. It was registered 1.1.75 so it is a late 74 Series 1, but I'm trying to identify what the colour is. No photos as yet ...

Over 2 years later and I still have the Marina but it's still just sat in a lock-up awaiting a service & titivation....

Strangely enough I did get hold (locally too) of a Nov 76 Maxi HL in exactly the same colour and mileage!

Is your car a lighter shade than the brochure one then retro? something tells me my grandads car could have been a bit lighter than this one. Having to think back 20 years is not easy lol :roll:
