Paul,

Well the main weak spots would be the rear spring hangers, inner sills to floors where the damp gets under the sealant, rear heal board and inner box section. Front chassis legs can split on later cars but early ones are better. Not really hard to repair places.I do actually have a MK1 ...

As a real engineer Brian, on what do you base your judgement that Bens car will 'go tits up'
Why is it a kit car, when there is clear documentation of what a kit car is . This has its original shell just different running gear.
Why so bitter too, Ben wants to improve the driving pleasure of his ...

We had this situation with Morris Minors some years ago ...

I'm afraid you have released the age old debate between original and modified Ben. We have been up against this for years with the M. Minor, but to be honest we no longer care if anyone has anything negative to say about our projects, I just see it as their problem.
As with modifying the Minor I was ...

Beniboyz,
Cannot remember were we going for just the single turbo or the G60 supercharger, think the latter would work best if we go for the 8.2 V8 rather than the Rx8 motor  :D

Looking good Beniboyz, looks like you have a crack team of pros working there for you, shame about the 'rash' outbreak which has halted all development
