Marina TC salvaged from a farmer's paddock in NZ

Post by locost_bryan » Tue Feb 18, 2020 1:25 am

Gordon, the blind owner of a restored Australian TC Coupe, has salvaged a rusty TC Coupe from a farmer's paddock in Southland, New Zealand.

His intention is to use it as a donor for some minor parts for his TC Coupe, and for his V8 Marina pickup project. It will also hopefully provide some parts for my TC Coupe.

The amount of rust can be judged by his comment ""When we opened the passengers door yesterday, it fell off".

Wow, great find. Look forward to seeing some more pics.
I love how farmers don't scrap their old vehicles but just abandon them in a field.

It's a useful trait, especially if you are looking for parts for a Land Rover- not so much now the values have skyrocketed but a few years back you'd have a good chance of finding what you needed in a local hedgerow!

Car looks like it's seen better days, but very complete- perfect parts car.
