The classic car movement needs Jeremy Clarkson like Jenson Button needs a towhitch and a Sprite Musketeer....

OK,

Specs:

1.8ltr Zetec - Omex built engine good for around 170bhp
Type 9 5 Speed Gearbox
Custom engine mount kit
Modified Sierra cross member
Custom prop shaft
Custom Jetex exhaust
Jenvey 45 twin throttle bodies
Omex 600 ECU and map
Polo ally radiator with Kenlowe fan

Transmission tunnel cut and raised about 2 inches and gearbox hole moved back about 4 inches, sierra crossmember spaced and mounted directly to the floor.

Focus exhaust manifold with custom flange made from 10mm plate.

Yes I have been busy...

Yeah it should go quite well !

I'm keeping the axle standard for now until I get the Dolly sprint one modified and under the car with a quaife LSD. I want to retain the wheel PCD If I can!

I've got to work on the air box and sort the wiring out but if all goes to plan then I should be up and running for end of Feb... It's all very exciting!

Fitting kits available!! :D

Well yes each to his own. The way I figure it the TC is the best looking of all Marina's, so why should it not have a decent modern engine fitted!! It's not like I couldn't revert it back to original if I really wanted but since I have a standard Tax exempt TC then this one was ripe for a change. The car IS still a TC as it will always retain that nice chassis plate with 'T' stamped on it.. And actually it is a TC but just "Twin Cam" and not "Twin Carb"..

The ultimate Q car!

Bring it ON!

Hell yes!! I'm going to drive the thing down and get it ready at Jim's place. Won't take us long to strip her!
