it sure ain't original but people on this forum have done it and loads of other classic car owners do it as well. At the end of the day how many are original??

I'm not saying that they dont, if people want to do that then again, fair enough its there choice, just saying that neither would that sort of car be original either.

exactly the point furzey. how many marina owners on this forum have a totally standard car ? With no add on's, wheels , upgrades etc. Probably none. My blue one was until i stuck wheels on it. But i can change the wheels angd go back to standard. Tht gives me 1 modified and 1 standard so best of both worlds.

Great job Ben! The car looks brilliant and nicely engineered too. I don't care what other people think of my cars and build what I like. I'm more that just a bit jealous of the zetec conversion, I'd love one but its too expensive for me. You have given me a kick up the backside too get some work done on the engine conversion on my estate and I'll give you a drag race in the summer!

I was ging to say mine was pretty damn near original until Ben pointed out the original air from the 70's is no longer in the tyres.. and for that matter they are new tyres... damn so close :(
