Clutch actuating fork position

Post by martinclan » Fri May 30, 2025 8:39 pm

So - having finally mated the gearbox and engine, and fitted it to the car, I noticed the clutch operating fork position seemed a bit odd. See picture.
As far as I am aware everything has been assembled correctly with the fork held onto the ball on the bellhousing with the little spring clip and correctly engaged with the release bearing. Does this look right? Doesn't seem to have much availaible travel.
It's 4 years since I took it all apart and I don't have another car to refer to! Should have taken more pictures at the time...
