Does anyone know what the prefix numbers of the first production run of the cars started with ?? ie number 1 ?? :)

8)as far as i am led to believe the first 400 went to bl dealers as demo cars but dont quote me on that i am not sure

No you plonker!! they all started at number 101 (as all Austin and Morris cars did) as i've said before.. :wink: :roll:

8) how is the J reg looking. hopefully it is solid and not needing too much done to it..how long had it been lying off the road.

8) Believe it or not Larry, it was only off the road for a couple of years!, but they soon look shabby if left out in the open near a big council estate, the badges were the first casualty, then a wiper, but nothing we can`t fix aye! :wink: , looks pretty good underneath, at worst a couple of sills, rear arches and the usual front wings....and maybe the doors...and maybe..... :roll: :wink: oh well it`s all good fun eh! :wink:
