got to be worth Ã‚Â£200 to Ã‚Â£ 300 IMHO Stu going on the pics and what you have said about her , the fact She is a 1800 special too , you could double yourmoney easily with T&T .

Such low mileage too m8 you are onto a winner all ends up

i beleive you can still drive it to the mot as long as it is insured.

mmmmm the brakes are half seized on and the tyres are shot don't fancy driving it back 80 miles when it hasn't seen the road since 1995

i'm rather fond of my driving license I wouldn't like it to be taken away by an officer of the law

plus I would loose my job a trailer is the safest option I reckon, if the runs and drives from where it is now the owners nephew who it now belongs too may think twice about keeping it 8) 8)

p.s any more thoughts on the sort of price I should offer ??

Driving it without an MOT is an offence under s.47 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 however there is a recognised exemption for taking it to or from a testing centre but only exists if the test has been previously arranged with the garage and must be by the 'most direct route'.

That said, driving with defective brakes, steering or tyres will cost you 3 points and Ã‚Â£60 regardless of whether it's got an MOT or not so I think you're right to stick to the trailer!!

Not bad Ray, at least I've some uses!!

You know me, I'm a work-a-holic (mention work and I get drunk!lol!)...the only time I get out and about these days is to be on the receiving end of a torrent of abuse.

That said, I have managed to get a trip out to cast an eye over Dougie's new Mk3 - it's looking great! Have you seen it yet?

As always sir, as always...mind you, the opportunities for ale-drinking have corroded faster than my TC's o/s wing lately!!

It is quite a transformation, I'd seen the pics when it was on ebay and got a vivid description of the state the roof had been in. It's cracking looking now....and making me look bad!!

Ah well, another two weeks and I'll be able to get on with some proper work - like getting the white-yin MOT'd again.

about time, you can't afford the white yin to go the same way as the tc. so remember don't drive them in the winter again to get covered in all the salt.
