front tie bar bushes

is there anything similar that can be bought from a local motor factors as Ive just realised these need changing before the mot

Get them direct from Superflex! They do next day delivery. Failing that if you are really stuck I have seen people use the rear damper bottom bushes.... Not really a good idea!

just seen some mini tie bar bushes and they look similar would these do as my local factors probably stock these on the shelf

Maybe... I imagine they would be a slightly smaller diameter but it's got to be better than what you already have!

I know Paul uses mini bushes on his mk1 mk8, I got mine for the mk3 from superflex for Ã‚Â£17.00 inc postage .

Hi, last year I was in a similar position, in desperation I bought a set of Mini bushes only a few quid,fitted them and Pickup aced the MOT. This years MOT done all the normal pre-checks,then went for MOT, whilst under the ramp with the tester I noticed the Mini bushes that I fitted the previous year still looking as good as new. I have had no problem with these bushes and therefor forgot all about them.Pickup once again I'm pleased to say aced the test yet again,NUFF said me thinks.....
