Beware though, on the subject of scrap.
Its not lads in Transits you need worry too much about, asive had to fend off certain groups of the community who have gone around with cartransporters literally dragging cars off and away at £100 or more atime. Usually sorn'd stuff thats uninsured/taxed etc.
So get it locked up or better still blocked in as I had to with my spare old taxi. They wont care as there's little risk to them. ANPR doesnt check the car on the back of the lorry if you catch my drift and when its melted down
the evidence has gone forever and may return as a Far Eastern washing machine carcase!

Near my work is an old Victorian junior school,the stone built variety the type i went to as a boy and i bet many others on here will have done the also,well for the third time this year the lead flashing has been ripped off one of the classroom roofs,approx price of weigh-in lead £200,cost of damage to the roof £7500....
As always no one has been caught,and if i hear the phrases once more "it's one of those things,the Police know who they are but can't do anything about it or it a sign of the times" i shall punch them

I went over to one of my buses tonight to do more stripping out as I’m weighing 12 tonnes of metal (mostly alloy!) and some rotten wee bugger has nicked 12 of my seat frames! There’s half a Ford Escort parked up next to my bus so that will be getting the hee haw put through what’s left of it and I will weigh that in with the chassis just to make up for it!

P.s I wanted to vote Alex out of the BB house by the way just in case anyone was wondering!
