The Worst Marina Ever !!!!

Post by The General » Mon Jul 21, 2008 10:08 pm

At the weekend we were at eglington park and this local guy approached us and asked if we wanted a marina. So obviously we said yes unaware what make , model, condition etc. So went down tonite and this is what greeted us.

Pic 1 :- the entrance.

the pictures don't actually show how really bad this car is. Having said that the interior is brown vinyl and in cracking nick as are the carpets, not even a rip. It says 1.3 deluxe on the boot but has a 1.8 engine in it.

There are barn finds,
and then there are those sort of finds where the metal is going back to where it came from!
Looks like this guy was having a joke.
If you can chip the limescale off the glass it maybe good

Bit like that one on Ebay which they strimmed all the weeds away so you can see the rust and accident damage, which probably is the reason it was left there to rot.

Shame for any car to be left to get to that state.

8) Guess where the carpets are going brown or not who cares. Once the mats and the console go in they will hardly be noticed. Its not as if someone is going to come up at a show and say they are the wrong colour. As long as they cover the floor it doesnt matter.....hession backed as well....maybe I could dye them.
Its got 2 good chrome wiper arms as well.
The scrapman will give a big note for it anyway. 8)
