8) Hi everyone!, thanks for your concern  , but i think i am still sane..well as sane as any Marina Owner is  , this was an easy decision for me really, i sold this car to Phil back in 1994 and if you check back on the old forum, where Larry was asking what cars you really regret selling this one was top of my list...i was unaware at the time that it was probably the only real one left!, but even so i knew phil would never sell it to anyone else and that one day it would be looking its` best again, well poor old Phil kept moving house and job over the years and the ST never really got started, so it just got moved from one place to the next never really seeing the light of day.
This car was originally sold in Bournemouth by Patrick Motor Group ltd in 1973, it was one of three, all identical with ST alloys, twin carbs, stripes competition exhaust etc, etc, they were not prepared to rally spec, just for fast road use so they had no roll cages, turreted shocks etc.
Phil has however, gathered up over the last ten years pretty much all the parts needed to turn it into the proper ST spec car it should be, including all the right suspension parts, engine parts (mostly cooper S/Midget etc) to produce a 130 BHP rally spec car as the works cars were.
When i eventually finish this car it should be as near a works spec Marina as you will get, Phil has done a load of research to date and i will carry on with this to make sure we get this one right  , i think it is important that there is a rally spec car out there, flying the flag for the Marina, after all they even made a model of the Patrick Motor sport Allegro, `bout time they made a Marina one too i reckon! :D
PS don`t worry Sam, the Mumford stays with me!

She looks good sitting in your garage, Frank! I enjoyed having it in mine, but things kept getting in the way - I'm glad its back with you and in line for "the treatment".

As for the van, well what can I say. It really is fantastic to have this van, much as it was to have had the Pick-up and the ST.

Plans for the van - Lake pipes, flames, 6" roof chop and matt black paint - or maybe just polish and TLC. It will stay as is.

Wow, what a swap there Frank. If anyone will give that car justice it will be your good self. Looking forward to a full ST replica, looking at the front grille, was it painted like that by ST or is that an addition? Genuine Special Tuning cars are certainly up there with the holy grail of Marinas, just don't drive it into a tree once it is finished!
