*** How much do you vaule this forum? PROBLEM SOLVED *****

Post by The original northen boy » Thu Jul 24, 2008 9:19 pm

In response to the question " How much do you value this forum" well i for one greatly since i have been a part of it i have greatly enjoyed my time spent on here,to be totally truthful i much prefer the "Off Topic" section as i often find constant Marina/Ital data and spec and car related matters pretty boring (sorry but i do) and has i have said many times "It's not all about Marinas and Itals"but as they say "each to his own"

well on to my point,to stop any one going "cap in hand" i'll stand to any outstanding site fees or the full cost of hosting the site, that's it,so no one need feel pressured into contributing any money what so ever, and www.fastmarinamagazine.com can continue to unite and forward the Marina and Ital fraternity for the forseeable future...
So can someone please contact me to arrange payment details..

Looking forward to another year.

Russ

Fair play Russ! Well the off topic is there for just that purpose for people to talk about whatever they like (within some fairly liberal boarders!).

so who does the forum belong to now if it doesn't belong to any of the clubs, ben or russ ? And does that make russ a moderator ?

I think the Forum is still Ben's as he is the chap who ensures it runs OK.
I am not sure any contributions mean you own a piece or all of it :?

Russ - your a generous bloke! Well done!
You can keep posting those jokes as well :D
Ben - does this mean I can have me cash back :o
Only kidding!

But hey Russ, I got this great idea and it envolves a getting some people together and a pyramid and some cash!! 8) Are you in?

I agree with Paul, the website is still Bens', although I made a contribution I don't believe I own it in any way and I don't expect to see my name on a list of sponsors.

Russ's generosity has enabled a facility to continue, he hasn't bought it out. Otherwise it would be the same as a Marina Ecosse member 'owning' that website because they helped with the costs or an MMOC member 'owning' that website in the same way.
