Anyone see Top Gear Last Week!

I can't be the only one who saw it and notice the star in the car - Theo (Rich chap on Dragons Den) mention he owned a marina and said it was better than another car on handling!!!

How about that!
Plus Jeremy C did not come back and laugh, I expect he was scared that Theo would have him stubed out! :shock:
I have it recorded to!
When I go back through it I may even remember what the other car was.

I saw that epsiode as well.Thought it strange that j clarkson did not slag him usless for having or owning up to having a Marina as he seems to hate everything Bl

Couldn't agree more with you all,my views on Clarkson have already been openly aired on the forum,to be honest i now only watch "Top Gear" as a last resort when faced with a choice of that or a repeat of "Heart Burn (Heart Beat)"
But have you noticed "the Clarkson types" pick their battles,there's a Gordon Ramsey episode of his T.V program "The F word" Ramsey visits a prison and meets three of the prisoners who work as chefs/cooks in the prison kitchen,surprise surprise no shouting no swearing no going off at any one,Gordon is as good as gold, best behavior from Mr Ramsey,the answers simple,Ramsey knew if he started to show off these lads would more than likely have a go back,and not to any "Marquis of Queensbury rules"so off form is Gordy-boy he even offers one of the lags a job when he come out of the big house in one of his resturants.

Couldn't agree more, Clarkson is a total C**t and he puts me off watching Top Gear, I wish they'd ditch him and just leave it with Jim May and Hamster, at least Hamster owns a classic, you remember Oliver from botswana, the wee 1963 Opel Ascona A, Practical Classics are restoring it for him. Lets hope they make a better job of it than they did the General!!

Hamster has (or had) a Morgan and a 67 fastback Mustang as well!

In the Botswana challenge Clarkson had no idea what to do when his Lancia broke down whereas Hamster happily dived in and was working on Oliver.

I still like Top Gear though, it's good entertainment for a Sunday evening.

Hamster also has a 72 Vauxhall Firenza which Practical Classics helped him to restore.
