Cheers mate , a great turnout for the presidents weekend , 26 cars in total turned up which is pretty good for the isle of wight and we had a lot of good feedback from the public as well !! i think the days of crappy cars has gone and as one man commented as he was looking at them said "now thats what i call a real car !!!"
I think as soon as the boys get back home there's gonna be a lot more photos going on , so hope you all enjoy !!! :D 8)

Great weekend lads, and ladies of course!!, thanks to everyone who turned out , luckily the weather was wonderful again, so the only ones to get wet were the ones who fell in the millpond!! Jim excelled himself this year and did us all proud with the Robin Hill meeting on Monday, great venue for future shows i think  , unfortunately the Mumford let me down by refusing to start on Sunday, so she had to stay at home and sulk on her own all day  , still hopefully the problem is a duff electronic ignition system in the Dizzy, which i will look at later this week, if she does that to me again she might end up on here in the classifieds!! :) ...only kidding  , anyway thanks again to all of you who attended and helped to make this years show the best yet :) 8)

Good to hear that you all had a wonderful time on the Island.

Across the wall we were also blessed with sunshine and we turned out 7 cars and put on a well decorated club stand in my personal opinion only to be beaten by local club who had a measly sandwich board and 4 cars on display and 2 of them were modern so work that one out!

We have also come to a conclusion that if you have a Jaguar then you get recognised as owning a classic car as it was all Jags that seemed to win 1st 2nd and 3rd and the Marinas not even getting noticed. I defiantly won’t be wasting any fuel on that rally next year if it’s on, besides the auto jumble was mince and I’m sick of hearing market music at these events, even when it’s live! Oh and there was no donut stalls and I love hot donuts covered in sugar – had to settle on candyfloss instead!

Looks like you had a brilliant weekend. Well done - 26 cars great.

If you can write a story around it, I'll put it up on the clubwebsite as a Show Report.

Fantastic weekend! Loved every minute of it. I will get the guys and gals here to post their pics and even a few good videos!

It was such a laugh as it always is, and my house mate who came along even ended up buying her first Marina... To see what it is you will have to wait until later on! One thing is for sure, you will be shocked!

MUCH LOVE. Ben

Weve noticed that down here as well Sean, there is a ford club down here that wont even mix with front wheel drive fords , so i cant see much of a future for them as most of them were older people and hardly any of them below their 40s !!!! Im not having a go at older people but at least we encourage younger people to join in and mix with other clubs , surely thats the only way to ensure our cars survive for another generation !!!! and have a good laugh along the way !!!

Awfully good pictures there James :p Whoever got all those cars in line must be a highly efficient individual.

And yeah I will "shock" everyone later with my latest purchase... apart from the people that were there, they can pretend to be shocked
