Hello from Dep-O

After an encouraging chat with MarinaCoupe, we thought we'd better introduce ourselves and our latest project, our glorious Ital estate, which we'll come to in a minute.

Basically, Dep-O (http://www.dep-o.co.uk) is all about old modified machinery and it was set up by a bunch of old-car loving stragglers from the original version of Retro Cars magazine in Sept 2008.

However, we do have to admit that we are really rather badly infected with a dangerous passion for BL cars. So far the count includes one Ital estate, an Ital pick-up, a Marina Coupé, a Mini and a Landcrab and still the need for more is not going away. Anyway, getting back to the estate, we have been on the look out for panels for the Ital - have a look for yourselves at http://www.dep-o.co.uk/page207.asp - without much success, so after being pointed in this direction, we thought we'd come and say hello.

As soon as we've given the old girl a thorough going over, we'll no doubt start posting requests for bits and pieces because going on first impressions we seem to have arrived in Marina nirvana...

Nice website you have - and raucous applause for the content - especially the Charlesworth treatise on Clarkson et al.
There's no stopping idiots doing what idiots do - but we can refuse to play the game.
When asked if I have seen the latest Marina destruction on Top Gear, my reply is; "Oh yes - very droll. I wonder if he would find our Granny incinerator such a hoot.?"
Just 'cos they're old, doesn't mean someone doesn't care for them...

Welcome along Dep-O !, great site, to be honest i already knew you were there courtesy of Mark from Southern Triumph , great to see some decent like minded people out there after the bashing we have been getting lately you start to wonder if you are the only ones mad enough to like BL`s finest! , anyway it`s great to have you on board, Frank.

Might be my 'other' magazine as currently I subscribe to two and buy others on an occasional basis. Yours looks interesting though..
