I know it's not a Marina but that 1500cc L reg Allegro pops up on the DVLA website as being registered on the 3rd July 1973, with a date of liability of 1st July 2002. That is one early 1500 Allegro, while the Marina appears to be taxed untill 1st December this year, having been first registered on the 3rd May 1971.

I guess this means its a very early build car with a chassis number somewhere in the first 20,000 produced. Does anybody know how many H/ J plate marinas survive with a vin from the first 10,000 made? I guess it isnt many-less than 10???
