Hi, I had mine made and fitted.
Old one did come off in one piece but I would not re-fit an old vinyl roof.
Any good trimmer can do this and depends on where you are located and if you can get the car there!

Can't help if you want to do it your self as I have not personally done one!
Cheers,
Paul.

IIRC i did the middle part first then the side part . the F/R screens were out as it was beiing painted.
easily enough but DO have a flat /soft "scraper" to get out any airbubbles caught

About £300 for the roof and fitting.
Add another £300 for roof lining and some more if you have a folding sun roof

I would advise the front and rear screens to be pulled out so you can fit the Vinyl properly!
you don't want it waving in the wind soon after

Thanks guys.
Which brings me to my next point.
The windscreen rubbers on eBay. Andybody had any experience of them?
the rear for the coupe is not available there though.

Quick Update...
gave the car its firstw ash ( in about 3 years by the look of it), and the vinyls, flaking off in clumos. Removing it is going to cause very little troubel.

Anybody else done the hammerite thing?

Sourced a vinyl roof kit from East kent Trim.
They only do black, so black it'll have to be.

I got a quote from a guy in ireland to do it - 600 euro!

Now there's a man who has not grasped the concept of deflation!

80-somethng quid was the damage, and I ordered a new front windscreen seal cos mine is leaking like the front of the Titanic.

Anyone know where there might be a rear window seal knocking around?
:)

Looks brilliant Paul. Was it hard to do?
The vents in the c pillar are brown, so I'll either paint them up or look for a black pair.

Only hard on the wallet as I did not fit it
I would paint the vents you have, but have you spoken to others on here about sourcing a brown roof?
One chap I saw at the National a couple of weeks ago had found original BL vinyl and had it fitted! Not sure if he is on here yet but I am sure others have found similar vinyl.

I know you have already got your vinyl Mick but this company Gary's Upholstery Products might be of some use to others. I bought basketweave vinyl for the interior of a Clan that a mate is restoring on one of my trips to the states earlier this year and with the current exchange rates, it's usually a good deal with the only problem being shipping.

Ah, its rdered now Paul.
Having said that, if the brown stuff turned up, I'd put the black one up on eBay or return it or whatever...

Worth a punt for sure!

Thanks
