Marina panels, NOS

Post by Fille » Sun Aug 23, 2009 3:28 pm

Are Marina panels still available in the UK? I have tried to source two new front wings for my TC here in Finland but to no avail. Finally on friday I found a company in western Sweden that has some Marina bits in stock. Still, they only had the left hand front wing (ok it's the worse one on my car). Do you reckon a NOS RH front wing can be easily sourced in Britain?

They do come up now and again and there are some pattern wings available too mostly on ebay but some come up within the MMOC from time to time too. Best thing to do is keep searching ebay and you might get some.

i work in the trade along with many others on here and you won't get them off the shelf unless you buy direct from earlpart, but they are rather expensive.

Jez, I just looked at the Earlpart catalogue and they certainly know how to charge... Fair play to them for having a fairly comprehensive catalogue though, it's the most complete list of Marina parts I've seen in a long time.

Forgot that Hadrain panels still do a few Marina panels too.

If you search under 'classics range' and 'Marina 71-79' it lists a few bits, unfortunately no full sills but I see Coupe and saloon rear corners which I've heard a few people asking about..

DHL have LOST the package. Luckily Hadrians are taking their responsibility and sending a new package and deducting delivery costs. Full points to them!

www.smithanddeakin.co.uk used to do fibreglass wings for marinas for about £60 each not sure whether they still do or not tho.

OK got my headlamp panels. Now the only major part missing is a RH front wing. Earlpart have them but they only sell the wings in pairs!! And I already got the LH wing.
Luckily my RH wing is in slightly better condition than the LH wing so I might be able to fix it with the repair sections sold by the Marina Owners Cluib. Anyone tried them, are they any good? If I go the repair route I will also need a repair section for the RH front wing, top back section, ie where it attaches to the A-post...

And of course, the time to fix it!
