Marina Mad Baz on here may be able to help!
BBC don't recognise this as crime or that it could be linked to the program

I suggest you don't leave it anywhere if possible!

Alas until I get the new gearbox fitted it aint going anywhere quick! You don't know the stress I already have had because I have to leave it in the open.

Hi TC, thats OK how were you to know that it was static. Alas the gearbox died three months back so I had to source a replacement, I now have a completely overhauled unit which I was planning to fit in the next week with help from a friend (strange how these things happen just when you are going to do stuff). Also for the last two years I have lived with a friend in a Terrace street so of course no off road parking, I am planning to move into a house with at least a driveway by the end of January allowing me to do proper work on the Marina. I have a shed full of parts stacked up by my motorbike ready for the resto, I'm planning a street sleeper so I have performance parts in mind.

I must admit your Jubilee project is an inspiration! I might ask you about how to get bodywork that good!!!!!

On another note whilst I am picking up some replacement glass tomorrow I think I will cut some perspex as a temp replacement until I have moved the car.

Well I can't do bodywork so I employed the talents of a Mr Uncle Frank on the IOW
23 panels later and the car looked as new as you can get really :D
If it had been me welding then I think there would be more holes than when I started!
But the above is based on my welding many years ago on my Mini 1275GT
I have always been good at cleaning things so I concentrated on that and left the bodywork to the experts!
Plus if I had decided to do all the bodywork as well it would have taken me many more years and I could not wait that long :P

Well hats off to Uncle Frank! :D

He does an amazing job...actually I chose my MK2 because it was solid bodywork albeit tatty. Its kind of last on my list of too do except for emergency welding!
