MARINA LAUNCH.
When the marina was launched did the main dealers get one of each or some get some models and some others. Often wondered.??

Hi Larry...Happy new Year!, as far as i know through talking to old BL salesmen from the 70`s most dealers were supplied with one or two cars, usually Saloons which were kept under wraps until launch day, as for bolt-on wings...no never, the car was always built in the same way, totally welded monocoque construction as were the rest of the range available at the time, (family cars anyway), such as the Mini, 1100, Maxi, 1800 and Allegro eventually.5055 wrote:And did they have bolt on wings.??

Happy New Year Frank. I just wondered if it were saloons or coupes that were supplied to dealers. Not so Happy New Year for me though. The hospital doctors reckoned I had took a mini stroke just Before Christmas. I am off work but feel not too bad so I have to take it easy. The pilgrim will probably be sold as it will be too much.....keep in touch........Larry.
